Mark has done well after his surgery folks. He has not attempted to pick at the stitches at all today. He even ate a bit of mac and cheese at noon!!! He's still swollen but he is healing.
After work, I stopped by Mark's school to sign a permission form for the school nurse giving her permission to give Mark his antibiotic and Ibuprofen when he returns to school tomorrow. She THEN informs me that he cannot attend school tomorrow IF he has had vicoden in the past 24 hours ( "because it's a level 3 medication" 0_0 ). Now...being the smart ass that I am, I really really really wanted to say " ummm if I was to U/A the all the adult staff here at Med Nazi Junior High, I'm betting I would find some level 3 meds hmmmmmm ".
Kev feels Mark should have at least one more day of the LEVEL THREE med so....Mark will not be returning to school tomorrow. I really have to wonder if that would even be asked or considered if Mark was NT.
Maybe I'm just tired....beyotchy....and have pms....or all 3.
