Oh dear friends it's sunny and "warm" outside. I have my windows open and I am butt dancing to songs on my computer as I type this. The snow IS MELTING!!
I ALMOST got my house to myself today ( something of which hasn't happened in months )...but alas...a child was at home sick today so I went to plan B. And, NO, B does NOT stand for BLOGGING. It stand for get some spring cleaning done.
*I cleaned out my pantry - a long overdue job and I now know I have tons of chipotle peppers and plenty of crushed tomatoes 0_0.
*A dear friend called me and we yakked for over an hour ( thank you dear friend - it was great to get caught up on your life and hear how your job was going etc. I am truly in awe of what you do and I am ever amazed at how you handle things. 500 thread count rating for you! ).
*I visited Mama's blog ( another dear friend ) and had fun on a post she made about old times. Thanks for that Ames!!

*A neighbor and dear friend called to ask me what passive aggressive meant 0_0 I finally figured out that she and her co-workers are going stir crazy and about ready to kill each other. I told her to either distance herself from them or go the other extreme and ....go out and get smashed together.
*My parents called me and had to tell me how "Dad made an ass ( Mom's words...not mine) at lunch today with his sister and her husband". One of Dad's baby sisters married an all around arse ( bigoted big mouth for short ) that has driven most of us nuts for years. He's the type that when you go out to dinner, looks at the waitress and says " I'll have a steak, potato and one of you" ....oh ya...that goes over REAL well with Iowa Farm boys that think their sister married a first rate jerk.
Anyway...this guy is JOE REPUBLICAN and thinks only democrats are crooks and cheaters. He started in on the governor from NY and how only dems cheat etc...... Dad sort of blew up and said " seems you guys prefer boys to cheat on your wives with...if I was gonna cheat, it'd be with a woman at least"....Ok the argument he used was lame and full of a few flaws *ahhem* 0_0 but it's not about the gov in NY; it's about dear ole Uncle Fran finally getting someone whipping it back at him. My brother chastized Dad about not talking about religion or politics ( T.y. for sharing Veronica now put your head down - there's no place for Ghandism or NICENESS here tyvm )....I asked Dad " do you feel better after letting him have it?" Oh yes indeedy he did. Then it's a good thing :)
I told Dad he did not make an ass outta himself and re-affirmed that Fran was an idiot.
I like to do good things for others :)

What did your mom expect of him? He told everyone he had to go out and buy underwear on his vacation!
I could tell he was proud of what he said Mama because he HAD to get on the phone and tell me all about it ( he hates the phone ). Mom and Mike were poo pooing him and....well...I said " YOU GO MON!" ....well not exactly but close enough.
